Pokemon TCG's Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames Product Lineup
The Pokémon Trading Card Game announced that Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames will be released on August 11th, 2023. This will be the third set of the Scarlet & Violet series.
The initial list of products included in the Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames set has been revealed by The Pokemon Company. Let’s go over what products we know you can expect in Pokemon’s latest set.
Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames Elite Trainer Box
As with other regular Pokemon sets, the Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames set will include an Elite Trainer Box. The contents of these boxes include:
- 9 Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames booster packs
- Each booster pack contains 10 cards and 1 Basic Energy. Cards vary by pack.
- 1 Full-art foil promo card featuring Pikachu
- 45 Pokémon TCG Energy cards
- A player's guide to the Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames expansion
- 6 Damage-counter dice
- 1 Competition-legal coin-flip die
- 2 Plastic condition markers
- A collector's box to hold everything, with 4 dividers to keep it organized

Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames Booster Box
The Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames set will also feature a Booster Box. The contents of each Booster Box includes:

Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames Card Spoilers
We're still in the early days of Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames spoilers so, only a few of the cards have been confirmed for the English set so far. The Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames set will be largely based off of two Japanese Pokemon sets - Pokemon Card 151 and the ex Start Deck. We can expect to see English versions of some of these cards featured in the Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames set as well.
