March of the Machine: The Aftermath Product Lineup 

March of the Machine: The Aftermath is the next mini expansion set of Magic: The Gathering and is slated to release on May 12, 2023. This mini set will bring a change to the four set releases we usually see per year.  

The March of the Machine: The Aftermath set will be legal in Standard but that is just about the only normal thing about this set. The set includes a new type of booster called Epilogue Boosters. These Epilogue Boosters are said to continue the storyline between sets. In addition to the Epilogue Booster boxes, March of the Machine: The Aftermath will also feature Collector Booster Boxes, and Bundles. 

Since this is a mini set, March of the Machine: The Aftermath will also only contain 50 regular cards. According to Wizards of the Coast, this set will not contain any common cards. Instead, all boosters will contain only mythics, rares and uncommons. 

March of the Machine: The Aftermath Epilogue Booster Box

For the first time ever, March of the Machine: The Aftermath introduces a Epilogue Booster boxes. The contents of these boxes include: 

  • 24 March of the Machine: The Aftermath Epilogue Booster packs
  • 5 Magic: The Gathering cards in each booster
  • 1-3 cards of rarity Rare or higher in every pack
  • 2–4 Uncommon cards in every pack
  • 1–2 cards of any rarity are Traditional Foil in every pack 
  • Guaranteed foil and Showcase card in every pack
