Magic: The Gathering's Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers, Set Information and More!
Wizards of the Coast have decided to make a second return to the Arthurian plane with their upcoming set - Wilds of Eldraine. This set seems to be a breath of fresh air compared to the harsh storylines we've seen in the last few releases. The Wilds of Eldraine set officially releases on September 8th, 2023 but previews for the set will begin on August 15th.
Since Wizards of The Coast shifted the Standard rotation cycle from two years to three, Wilds of Eldraine will not initiate a Standard rotation. Wilds of Eldarine will include a mix of old mechanics and new mechanics. As a normal release, you can expect to see the following products included in the set.
Wilds of Eldraine Collector Booster Box
As with other regular Magic: The Gathering sets, Wilds of Eldraine set will include Collector Booster boxes. The contents of these boxes include:
- 12 Wilds of Eldraine Collector Boosters
- 15 Magic: The Gathering cards
- 5 cards of rarity Rare or higher in every pack
- 5 Uncommon cards
- 4 Common cards
- 1 Full-Art Land
- 10-12 Traditional Foil cards in every pack
- At least 3 special Borderless cards per booster
- 1 Traditional Foil double-sided token
Additionally, there is also a Textured Foil Borderless card 25% of Wilds of Eldraine Collector Booster packs.
Wilds of Eldraine Draft Booster Box
Wilds of Eldraine set will also feature a Draft Booster Boxes. The contents of each Draft Booster Box includes:
- 36 Wilds of Eldraine MTG Draft Boosters
- 15 Magic: The Gathering cards per booster
- 1 card of rarity Rare or higher in every pack
- 3-4 Uncommon cards
- 9 Common cards
- 1 Land card (Full-Art Land in 33% of boosters)
- At least 1 special Borderless card of rarity Uncommon or higher
In addition to everything listed above, a Traditional Foil Card replaces a Common in 33% of Draft Booster packs.
Wilds of Eldraine Set Booster Box
Wilds of Eldraine set will also feature a Set Booster Boxes. Each Set Booster Box includes:
- 30 Wilds of Eldraine Set Boosters
- 12 Magic: The Gathering cards per booster
- 1-5 cards of rarity Rare or higher in every pack
- 1 Art Card
- 3-7 Uncommon cards
- 3-6 Common cards
- 1 Land card
- At least 1 special Borderless card of rarity Uncommon or higher
- 1 Traditional Foil card
- 1 token/ad card, Helper card, or card from "The List" (a special card from Magic's history or Universes Within card—found in 25% of packs).
In addition to everything above, in Wilds of Eldraine Set Booster boxes you'll also find a Traditional Foil Land that replaces the basic land in 20% of Set Boosters and a Foil-Stamped Signature Art Card replaces the Art Card in 10% of Set Boosters.
Wilds of Eldraine Commander Decks
You'll also find Commander Decks as a part of the Wilds of Eldraine release. Commander decks are a great way to get a complete deck that is ready for play! Each Commander Deck includes:
- 100-card ready-to-play Commander Deck; 2 Traditional Foil + 98 nonfoil cards
- 2-card Collector Booster Sample Pack (contains 1 Traditional Foil or nonfoil special treatment card of rarity Rare or higher and 1 Traditional Foil Borderless Uncommon card)
